This year we’d like to honor Aunty Aletha ‘Puna’ Kaohi, on Saturday, February 21st, 2026 during Na Heihei a Ola at the 49th Annual Waimea Town Celebration Fun Run. We celebrate her lasting legacy and are honored to share her story as told by her ‘ohana. Mahalo.

Eight Waimea student athletes went to Montana in March 2023 for a cultural exchange opportunity with Honor Bound program at Montana State Universitym, volunteered at the Powwow, and participated in a Track & Field meet.
